Panther Print & Design Ltd was formed over 30 years ago, but has recently added more specialist printing services, including large format printing and security numbering.
Having to move with the times is important and when the recession hit, company founder Robert Quick found himself in a huge industrial unit with large overheads.
Relocating the business wasn’t a decision Robert took lightly, and he researched suitable alternative premises for more than two years, keen to find exactly the right building to relocate to.
CEME Innovation Centre offered the perfect combination of industry and administration space.
Robert says: “It’s very unusual to find serviced workshops with three phase electricity, but it was a key factor for us.”
Panther Print moved to CEME in March 2013 and Robert credits the centre with saving his business.
Robert explains: “Moving to CEME has been brilliant – it’s a very impressive space and has improved our quality of life – we shouldn’t underestimate how important a clean, fresh working environment is. We all love the innovation and creativity which flows through the building”.
Like many businesses in the centre, Robert has found new business contacts within CEME and is very appreciative of the support offered by centre management.
“As we were a fully established business with plenty of work we were probably a bit slow to approach other tenants for their print work, but CEME encouraged us and spread the word. The new business we have picked up as a result of moving to CEME probably pays the rent on its own.” Says Robert.
